School Announcements
All currently enrolled students, grades 7-12, are invited to Silver State Charter School's Atrium for an appreciation luncheon on Friday, May 24th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. We will serve hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and sodas or water. We love our students and want to show our appreciation to you, so take a break from school work to come out and join us!
All assignments are due for graduating seniors by Wednesday, May 29 at 11:00 PM. You must be passing all required classes to be considered a graduating senior.
There will be a recognition luncheon for all graduating Seniors on May 31, 2013 at the Silver Oak Golf Course in Carson City. The luncheon will begin at 12:30 PM. Please RSVP to Mr. Martin by 3:00 PM on May 29, 2013 to reserve your place at the table.

Graduation will be held on June 4th at 7:00 PM at the Community Center in Carson City. There will be a MANDATORY REHEARSAL at 9:00 AM for all graduating seniors who have purchased a cap and gown. If you are not present at the MANDATORY REHEARSAL, you will NOT walk that night.
Seniors may pick up their cap and gown on May 31st at the luncheon or anytime there after.
All assignments are due for 8th graders being promoted to ninth grade by Thursday, May 30 at 11:00 PM. You must be passing all required classes to be considered a promoting 8th grader.
Eighth Grade Promotion will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the Silver State Performing Arts Center at 900 Mallory Way in Carson City.
There will be a MANDATORY REHEARSAL at 9:00 AM for all 8th graders being promoted that will last one hour. Please come appropriately dressed for the promotion ceremony. If you are not present at the MANDATORY REHEARSAL, you will NOT participate in the ceremony.

Then mention "Silver State Charter Schools" before you give the cashier any money and the school will earn 25 cents per item! That may not sound like much, but if everyone did that once a week, the school could easily earn $1,000 per month!
